ISSF Shotgun World Cup | Rajeshwari Kumari, Kynan Chenai remain at 24th position in mixed trap

The Indian shooting pair of Rajeshwari Kumari and Kynan Chenai was placed at the 24th place in the ongoing ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Changwon, Korea in the mixed trap event. The other Indian duo in the mixed trap event with Shagun Chowdhary and Prithviraj Tondaiman were placed 31st.

India didn’t have a great run at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup and the Indian shooters failed again in the mixed trap event. Out of the two Indian teams participating in the category, the pair of Rajeshwari Kumari and Kynan Chenai was the best placed at the 24th position on the table. They shot 91 out of 100 in the mixed trap event with Rajeshwari scoring 43 and Chenai 48.

The other Indian duo of Shagun Chowdhary and Prithviraj Tondaiman had a terrible outing at the office as they shot 88 points to get the 31st place out of 40 teams participating in the mixed trap event. Shagun shot 43 while Tondaiman could only manage 45 during the competition.

The Italian pair took the gold medal while USA team lost the summit clash and had to remain satisfied with a silver medal. Silvana Stanco and Daniela Resca of Italy got the better of the USA’s Ashley Carroll and Derek Haldeman 5-4 in the shoot-off the pairs were tied on 42 each in the gold-medal fixture of the mixed trap event.
