How many times have you seen Roger Federer pull off a 'tweener' between his legs to leave his opponents and fans in a sense of wonder? However, when Nick Kyrgios pulled off something similar in the semi final of the ongoing Miami Open, it felt like poetic justice had been served.

It’s not often that you get to see the great Roger Federer being outfoxed by someone on a tennis court. However, Australia’s Nick Kyrgios did exactly that when he bamboozled the Swiss maestro with a tweener.

The incident occurred in the second set of the Maimi Open semi-final encounter. Having taken the first set 7-6 and on serve to level the second at 1-1, Federer tried an approach shot off a Kyrgios service return and would have been pretty happy with the execution. Kyrgios, however, not only managed to get there in time but also had the time to place the ball well wide of the Swiss star, who was waiting at the net.

Federer was left absolutely flat-footed by the return as Kyrgios leveled the game at 15-15. Eventually, the Swiss challenge proved to be a step too far for the Australian as he went down 7-6 in the third set after winning the second one by the same margin.
