Timothy Weah’s agent has publicly criticized Juventus for mishandling the winger’s transfer situation. Despite interest from Marseille and a rejected Premier League offer, no deal has been finalized. Weah, who joined Juventus two summers ago, remains professional, but his agent blames one executive for creating obstacles and showing a lack of respect during negotiations.

Just like the transfer window’s unpredictability, Timothy Weah’s future at Juventus has become increasingly uncertain, prompting sharp criticism from his agent. Despite maintaining professionalism and reporting for preseason training, the USMNT winger has been caught in a tug-of-war between potential transfers and internal club decisions. A proposed move to Nottingham Forest was rushed and ultimately fell through, followed by stalled negotiations with Marseille despite Weah reportedly agreeing to personal terms.

Weah’s agent, Badou Sambague, did not hold back in an interview with TuttoJuve, expressing deep frustration with Juventus’ handling of the situation. He praised the club overall but accused one unnamed executive, likely General Manager Damien Comolli of obstructing the process by demanding an unrealistic fee and pushing for a Premier League move the player does not support. Sambague also highlighted that Weah was sidelined during the Club World Cup under questionable circumstances.

Signed in 2023 as Juventus’ only new addition that summer, the 25-year-old has seen his transfer hopes dashed twice. His agent emphasized that outdated transfer methods and internal conflict are undermining both Weah’s value and professionalism. With tensions rising and no clear resolution in sight, Juventus’ front office faces growing scrutiny over its strategy and leadership.
