India’s Manu Bhaker and Rani Sarnobat secured a spot in the final of the 25m air pistol event at the ongoing ISSF World Cup, which is being held in Germany. Meanwhile, Saurabh Chaudhary and Shahzar Rizvi qualified for the eight-man final of the men’s 10m air pistol event in Munich.

Indian shooting pair of Manu Bhaker and Rahi Sarnobat have managed to qualify for the final of the women’s 25m pistol final in this year’s third International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup that is being held in Germany on Monday.

If Bhaker and Sarnobat end up on the podium, they will benefit massively as there are Tokyo 2020 Olympic spots up for grabs in this tournament. Asian Games champion Sarnobat finished fourth with a score of 586-25x (25 inner 10s) while Indian teenage prodigy Bhaker shot 585-17x to finish fifth.

Meanwhile, in the men’s 10m air pistol event Saurabh Chaudhary and former world number Shahzar Rizvi qualified for the eight-player final. India have already won the maximum tally of two quotas in this event.

Chaudhary, who won gold in the Delhi edition of the ISSF World Cup earlier this year, finished second with a total score of 586 (25 inner 10s) while Rizvi qualified on sixth place with a score of 583 (24 inner 10s.)
