Badminton: Saina eases into China Open Semis

Wins 21-16, 21-13 against World No. 10 Okuhara of Japan. Saina next faces World No. 8 Wang Yihan of China, who had defeated her in the semis of London Olympics. Overall, Saina may have a poor career head to head against Yihan (3-9), but she will take confidence from having won their last two encounters.

#LetsFootball: Report on #MahaDerby

Maha derby turned out to be a rather sedate affair as Mumbai City FC held Pune City FC to a 0-0 draw. Visitors Pune never looked to enforce the game, while Mumbai remained handicapped in the attack, missing its forwards Sunil Chhetri (played in India's win against Guam) and Sony Norde. Pune now are level on top of the league with Goa, who have played one game less however.

Delhi Dynamos and Atletico de Kolkata face-off in Delhi today. We are predicting a 2-1 win for Kolkata, what say?

Cricket

#IndvsSA: The 2nd test began today at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore, a favorite hunting ground for visiting teams. Further, favoring the visitors has been the weather- overcast/cloudy here in Bangalore with more rain expected in the coming days. However, South Africa are weakened by injuries to Philander and Steyn while India are bolstered by the return of Ishant. The injuries may have tipped the scales in India’s favor.

More controversies in cricket administration! Snoopgate accusations raised on the previous BCCI regime while questions raised on Delhi's ability to host 4th Test match after Kejriwal's crackdown on DDCA.

#All-Stars: Warne may be 2-0 up against Sachin but in another time, another location and a stormy setting, Sachin came up on top – read our trip down memory lane!
