In the 2022 season, he could only play a single match in which he was able to score only 4 runs. Ahead of the IPL 2023 Prerak was selected by the Lucknow Super Giants at a base price of INR 20 lakhs. This was an opportunity for him to further showcase his skills in the grandest stage of the Indian Premier League.
