India announce 17-member Squad for remaining Tests

The BCCI announced the 17-member squad, choosing to retain the same team from the second Test, for the remaining two Tests of the India-South Africa Freedom series.

Having been called up for the Bengaluru test, Gurkeerat Singh Mann retained a place in the squad for the remaining two Test matches as well.

The squad was announced by BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur through a media advisory after the All-India Senior Selection Committee met in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

The squad:

India Test squad (last two Tests): Virat Kohli (Captain), Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Amit Mishra, Varun Aaron, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, KL Rahul, Stuart Binny and Gurkeerat Singh Mann.
