In what has been his best year of cricket so far, Virat Kohli has retained the No. 1 spot in the latest ICC T20I batsmen rankings released today. Meanwhile, India has two bowlers in Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah in the top-five ranks of the T20I bowlers rankings.

Although he did not shine much in India's one-run loss to the West Indies days back, Virat Kohli's exploits over the past year have seen him comfortably maintain his lead at the top of the ICC batsmen rankings. Kohli leads the charts with 820 points ahead of Aaron Finch at 803. However, India's dependence on its talisman was quite evident with no other batsman from the team in the top-ten.

The next Indian in the charts is Rohit Sharma, who has moved into the 18th spot, while T20 specialist Suresh Raina is in the 29th spot. Meanwhile, KL Rahul has moved from the 98th spot he held earlier to the 31st in one stroke with that scintillating century in the first T20 international against West Indies. Rahul's unbeaten century of 110 runs was finally not enough as India lost by a run, but that should cement his place in the line-up for sometime.

After the two-match series ended with a 1-0 win for the Windies, the T20 World champions have moved to just 1 point behind India at 125. India are in second place with 126, while New Zealand lead the charts at 132.

In the bowler's rankings, Ravichandran Ashwin has moved back into the top-5 to be at the No.4 spot after having been No.2 earlier this year. But, the highest-ranked Indian has been pacer Jasprit Bumrah who is in the third position.

Ravindra Jadeja holds the next spot from India in the 21st place, followed by Ashish Nehra at 27th.
