ICC announced the annual cricketing awards this morning, and everyone was in for a shock - Kohli was surprisingly left out of the ICC Test team and not awarded the ICC Player of the Year. Inspite of being happy for Ashwin, the Twitterati were disappointed at Kohli not making the cut.

After a year full of incredible performances in all the formats of the game, Ravichandran Ashwin has won the ICC Cricketer of the Year Award for the first time in his career. The off-spinner has become the first Indian to win this award since Sachin Tendulkar received it in 2010.

Maybe the Test team is only for humans :P

Poor team it will be!

Ash "WIN" ICC Cricketer of the year

The Jury was drunk?

ICC Champion of the Year or something?

Sir Jadeja is like Aamir Khan, deserves every award, but ignores it!

Should we keep an Indian XI v ICC Test team XI?

And Indians have begun their whining!

For all the fans who have been disappointed, this is the reason!
