Pele confirms India visit for ISL 2015

Brazilian soccer great Pele has confirmed his visit to India to watch the Indian Super League champions Atletico de Kolkata's Season 2 opening home game against Kerala Blasters on October 13.

“Hello, I am very happy to attend the Atletico de Kolkata first home match. I look forward to visit the Salt Lake Stadium and meeting the players and the fans. Fatafati Football,” 74-year-old Pele said in a video message.

The three-times World Cup winner will be travelling on an invitation from the Kolkata franchise owners. It will be only his second visit to India after touring for the first time in 1977 as a member of New York Cosmos which played out a 2-2 draw against Mohun Bagan at the Eden Gardens.
