Midfielder Marouane Fellaini is expected to miss Manchester United’s clash against Arsenal at the weekend due to a calf injury sustained during the 3-1 win over Swansea City that also saw the Belgian withdrawn from the national squad for the games against the Netherlands and Estonia.

"Fellaini picked up an injury against Swansea City and will go back to his club. We have a core of 24 players which is enough," Belgium manager Roberto Martinez told reporters.

Fellaini is the latest on United’s list of injured after defenders Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia and Chris Smalling, going into a busy few weeks in which they host Feyenoord in the Europa League and two matches slated against West Ham United.
