Indo-Swiss pair of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis won their seventh crown of the season at the WTA Wuhan Open since coming together in March, with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Monica Niculescu and Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania in the final in 70 minutes.

“Title number 7 #SanTina @mhingis #WuhanOpen," the Indian star tweeted, accompanied by a picture of the duo with the trophy. It was the top-seeded pair’s second title in two weeks in China, as they romped through the tournament without dropping a single set, like in Guangzhou last week.

Mirza and Hingis dropped serve thrice and fought back from a 2-0 deficit in the second set to win the match. They now head to the China Open in Beijing, where they have been given the top billing.

So far this season the pair has won titles at Indian Wells, Miami, Charleston, Wimbledon, the US Open, Guangzhou and Wuhan.
