English journalist Piers Morgan was trolled on Twitter by the Indian cricket fans after England capitulated on the fifth day of the final Test in Chennai to another embarrassing defeat. Morgan, who had previously mocked India for their performance in the Olympics, had no where to hide.

Life has not been too rosy for Piers Morgan on social media recently. The Englishman who is known mostly for his outbursts against Arsenal, a club he supports, and Arsene Wenger, has been on the receiving end of a few outbursts himself. After recently featuring alongside Donald Trump in his Christmas card, which caused people to nauseate and draw comparisons with Star Wars character Jabba the Hutt and Bib Fortuna, Piers Morgan has now been on the receiving end of the internet trolls after England’s shameful 0-4 loss against India in the Test series.

Morgan, who had mocked and criticized India after the Rio Olympics saying, “Country with 1.2 billion people wildly celebrates 2 losing medals. How embarrassing is that?”, was nothing more a sitting duck after England’s capitulation on the final day of the fifth Test in Chennai. Indians do not forget, and they made sure Morgan knew that.

To be fair to the Englishman, he did give a fair reply.
