Suresh Raina is positive about India's chances in the Asia Cup and the upcoming World T20 tournaments in the subcontinent. The southpaw insisted that the team is confident of winning a game from any situation thanks to the presence of a leader like MS Dhoni and cricketer like Virat Kohli in their ranks.

“Asia Cup is a very good practice for us before the World T20. It will be very important to win all the five matches in the Asia Cup as it will tell us where we stand in our preparation. Every member of the team has to be believe that we can win from any situation in the match. It helps that we have the best captain in the world and we also have the best player (Virat Kohli) in our team,” Raina told Times of India.

The 29-year-old has also welcomed the stability in the batting lineup, and how establishing himself as the No.4 has helped his performances.

“I think the assurance that I'll be batting in the No.4 position has helped. The six-over period between overs 7 to 12 are very important in these matches – you have to play big shots but have to work out the angles as well. These are moments you have to take a lot of risk but if you can bat till the 17th or 18th over, the team will be in a very good position. It's easier to clear the field once you have your eye in and I believe in batting till the last ball to put the finishing touches,” Raina explained.
