India woke up to news today morning that Parthiv Patel has been drafted into the squad as a replacement for Wriddhiman Saha. He will be making his Test comeback after 8 years after India has fielded 4 wicket-keepers since he last played for India in Tests.

Parthiv Patel will be back to the Indian Test team after 8 years, since he last played a Test way back in 2008 against Sri Lanka  at P Sara Oval in Colombo. Not even a single player from both the teams had made their Test debut when he played his first Test in 2002. He has scored 683 runs at an average of 29.69 in 20 Tests.
