Indian fans in Guwahati hold up posters apologizing Australia

In a grand gesture by the Indian cricket fans following the horrific incident that took place on Tuesday while the Australian team was returning after the game, many were seen lining up outside the visitors' hotel on Wednesday morning offering apologies for the misconduct holding up posters like ‘Sorry Australia’, ‘Sorry BCCI’ and many more.

Guwahati hosted their first international game after seven years on Tuesday, when India took on Australia in the second T20I game and it ended up in a mess. An Indian fan threw a stone at the Australian cricket team bus , shattering one of the windows after the Aussies defeated India quite domineeringly.

Cricket Australia revealed on its website. cricket.com.au, that the rock was "believed to be roughly the size of a cricket ball" and had ended up inside the bus.

The report read, "In a remarkable piece of good fortune, no one was sitting on the seat next to the window when it was broken. While no one was injured, the Australian players were understandably shaken up by the incident."

Australia opener Aaron Finch had even shared a picture of the shattered window on his tweet stating, “Pretty scary having a rock thrown through the team bus window on the way back to the hotel!!”

This took place five weeks after the Kangaroos had faced a similar stone-throwing incident at Chittagong in Bangladesh following the first day's play of the second and final test. India will be under huge pressure to tighten security for the final T20I, which is scheduled to take place on Friday in Hyderabad.
