MS Dhoni is known for sending any bowlers to hiding through his monstrous sixes and one of his most memorable sixes is the World Cup-winning hit in 2011 at the Wankhede Stadium. Dhoni let his fans live that moment once again by hitting a huge six during a net session at the same stadium on Friday.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni's sixes are as famous as he is and one of the sixes which made a mark on all his fans all over the world is the one he hit in 2011 World Cup at the Wankhede Stadium. In April 2011, in the finals, Dhoni hit a monster six on the ball of Lankan pacer Nuwan Kulasekara and ended India's 28-year-long wait to lift the World Cup trophy. India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in front of a jam-packed crowd at the Wankhede Stadium.
Yesterday, during a net session ahead of the first ODI against New Zealand, the 36-year-old hit a monster six that invariably took his fans to that famous maximum against Sri Lanka. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of this six.

Team India is all set to take on the Kiwis in the first of three ODI matches in Mumbai on Sunday. The next two matches will be held in Pune (October 25) and Kanpur (October 29).
