WATCH | South Africa's lack of sportsmanship leaves Bangladesh fuming

South Africa are one of the teams who are adored everywhere they go and a big part of it is the way they approach the game. However, in the second T20I against Bangladesh, the Proteas inflicted a run out despite Taskin Ahmed wriggling with pain because of a nasty Andile Phehlukwayo full toss.

Riding on David Miller's fastest T20I century, 101 runs in 36 balls, South Africa had set Bangladesh a monstrous total of 225 to chase. At the time of the incident, South Africa's victory was just a formality and when they could have taken the high ground, the Proteas slumped to a degrading low.

The incident occurred on the fifth ball of the 18th over, when Bangladesh required 89 runs to win off 14 balls, when Phehlukwayo bowled a nasty 130kmph, above the waist full toss, ball to Taskin Ahmed. Surprised by the ball, Taskin attempted to pull the delivery but missed it and caught it flat on his arm. The Bangladesh player just stood there clutching his arm as his partner, Mohammad Saifuddin, ran over to complete a single. In the meantime, the ball had rolled behind the wicket and Mangaliso Mosehle picked it up and threw it to Phehlukwayo who completed the run-out.

What was surprising about the incident was the fact that Phehlukwayo knew that he had bowled an illegitimate delivery and should, in all honesty, have allowed Taskin to stay at the crease as the hosts were anyways guaranteed a win on the day.

How many dismissals will Dhoni be involved in?
