Afghanistan batsman Hazratullah Zazai smashed six back-to-back maximums in the match between Balkh Legends and Kabul Zwanan at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium in the UAE. Zazai hit six sixes off Abdullah Mazari’s over en route to his blistering half-century off just 12 deliveries.

The Afghanistan Premier League is still in its infancy stage and it won’t be fair to compare it to other popular domestic leagues in the world like the IPL, Big Bash T20 amongst others. But the APL does have some interesting talents on display and is a brilliant outlet for young Afghani cricketers to showcase their skills.

The match between Rashid Khan-led Kabul Zwanan and Mohammed Nabi’s Balkh Legends was a brilliant example of the same. Kabul’s opener, Hazratullah Zazai, put in a memorable display against his opponents after the talented batsman smashed six sixes off a single over in the game today. Zazai hit Balkh Legend’s Abdullah Mazari for six sixes off the fourth over en route to his brilliant 12-ball fifty.

Zazai’s blistering innings propelled his team to 244 off 20 overs. Mazari was smashed for 37 in the only over, which included one wide delivery as well. He also equalled Yuvraj's record of scoring 50 in 12 balls.
