Keeping is never an easy task, but the likes of Kumar Sangakkara and Adam Gilchrist have done the job with relative ease in the last decade or so. However, none comes close to MS Dhoni, who was once again involved in a spectacular stumping, and this time, he even defied Newton's law of motion.

India have been truly a class apart in the ongoing edition of the Asia Cup as they have remained unbeaten after four games. Having secured a spot in the final, India chose to experiment with their starting XI and rested stand-in skipper, Rohit Sharma for today’s match against Afghanistan. World cup-winning captain MS Dhoni stepped in to lead the cricket team after a gap of 696 days, having last captained the team in October 2016.

In doing so, Dhoni became the third skipper to captain a team in over 200 ODIs. If that wasn’t enough, the seasoned wicket-keeper also chipped in with another signature stumping as he helped Kuldeep Yadav dismiss Afghanistan’s leading run-scorer this season, Hashmatullah Shahidi. Shahidi came into this match on the back of three successive fifties, but he was dismissed for a duck today and did not trouble the bowlers today.

Dhoni defied the laws of physics as he displayed lighting quick hands coupled with a strong center of gravity and clipped the bails to send Shahidi back to the pavilion. It was the chinaman from Kuldeep which drifted in, dipped and turned past the outside edge. Shahidi was drawn forward by the flight and once he missed the out the spinner, Dhoni was lightning quick to dislodge the bails. Well done. Sir!
