As per the latest notice from the electoral officer of the BCCI, the annual general meeting (AGM) of the board will be held on October 23, with the new office bearers announced by 3 pm. All the full members of the board were invited to submit applications for the electoral roll on Thursday.

As per the IANS report, the BCCI elections for the posts for office bearers of the BCCI, one member of the Apex Council, and two members of the Governing Council will be held from 11 am to 2 pm on 23rd, with the results declared within an hour after that. Members were called to file applications to nominate their respective representatives included in the elections on September 26, with the deadline for the same is 3 pm on October 4.

The first draft of the electoral roll will be released on October 4 at 5 pm and the names will be open to objections from 11 am to 3 pm on October 5 and 7. After a thorough examination of the objections, if any, on October 9 and 10, the final electoral roll will be published at 5 pm on October 10. A final call to file nomination applications for candidates will also be done along with this, with the window (11 am to 3 pm) extending until October 14, with the exception of October 13.

The approved list of candidates will be announced at 5 pm on the day of the close of the nomination window. Candidates may withdraw themselves from contesting, in person, anytime from 11 am to 3 pm on October 16, after which the final list of candidates will be published at 5 pm.
