Enthusiasm is crucial in cricket but must be managed carefully to avoid potential mishaps. A prime example was seen in the first Test between India and Bangladesh in Chennai, where Hasan Mahmud's exuberant celebration resulted in a collision with Ravindra Jadeja during an LBW appeal.

‌India struggled with the bat, losing skipper Rohit Sharma early in the innings. The trouble deepened when both Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli fell cheaply, leaving India at a precarious 34/3 within nine overs. However, the left-handed pair of Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal stabilized the innings, putting together a 62-run partnership to take the score to 92/3 by the 25th over. After the dismissals of Pant, KL Rahul, and Jaiswal, the responsibility fell on Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin to steer the innings forward.

On the fourth ball of the 50th over, Hasan Mahmud bowled a perfect in-seam delivery to Jadeja. The left-hander attempted to flick it to the leg side, but the seam movement caused a slight inside edge onto his pads. Mahmud convinced it was LBW, launched into a loud appeal, continuing through his follow-through. In the heat of the moment, Mahmud collided with Jadeja, causing both to tumble to the ground. Umpire Rod Tucker initially ruled Jadeja out, but the decision was reviewed. Replays showed an inside edge, leading the third umpire to overturn the call.

The collision between Mahmud and Jadeja sparked a wave of amusement on social media, sending Twitter into a frenzy with humorous reactions.
