Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has done too much at a young age to get his debut for the Indian team. With his impressive performances in the IPL 2026, he is likely to be picked for India in the T20I series against Ireland. If this happens, Vaibhav will also become the youngest to play for the Indian team.

The Indian cricket team is about to get another youngster who dominates the bowlers with ease. And it is Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, the 15 year old who has dominated the world-class bowlers to a great extent. He made his IPL debut in 2025 and since then he has impressed the selectors to a great extent.

But at that time, he was just 14 years old, meaning that he was ineligible to be a part of India's senior team. This year he has turned 15, which now makes him eligible for selection to the men's senior team. India is also scheduled to play a series against Ireland in June, which comes between a tight schedule for the team.

At this moment, it is likely that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi would be selected for the T20I series against Ireland. This comes after his impressive performances in the IPL, where he has also held the Orange Cap for some time.

Here's how Twitter has reacted to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi being ready to receive his maiden India Cap.

Record Incoming

Since he has dominated the world-class bowlers so well, playing against Ireland makes fans feel that he would be able to score 200 runs alone.

RR Dugout

Watching Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the dugout of Rajasthan Royals feels purely like this. In a team where everyone is above 20, he stands as the lone youngster.

Sachin's Record in Danger

Earlier, the record of youngest to play for the Indian team was with Sachin Tendulkar. But the Master Blaster might get his record broken by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the next few months.
