Twitter Reacts to the End of IPL Season and the Return of Whites
The Indian Premier League has ended, and this also means the commencement of the whites. Test cricket is about to return, as we would witness various Test series this month. India and Afghanistan take on each other on 6th June, as England and New Zealand also face each other on 4th.
The two months of the Indian Premier League have now come to an end. And just like every year, this time also the conclusion of the IPL marks the commencement of Test cricket. The ultimate format of the game is about to return, and fans are excited to watch players such as Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, and more in the whites.
On 6th June, India will be going against Afghanistan in a one off Test at New Chandigarh. This will be the first Test match between the two teams in a long time, as they last played in 2018. This time, Shubman Gill and company will aim to rebuild India's dominance at home venues, which could help them in the WTC cycle.
And at the same time, England will be taking on New Zealand in a Test series at home. The first test match is all set to be played from 4th June at The Lord's. Ben Stokes is all set to return for the English team after an injury, as it remains to be seen which team comes out on top.
Here's how Twitter has reacted to the return of Test cricket.
Feel for Pant
Feel bad for Pant...

He was the vice captain of team India before this IPL and suddenly because of that bad form in ipl he was removed from his vice captaincy spot also 😭.
Hope he will cook again in his best format ❤️🔥 pic.twitter.com/Gr0sgsnG3D
Rishabh Pant fans would be feeling bad right now. He was the vice captain of the Test side before the IPL. But he had a bad season and even lost that spot.
Almost Every Indian Fan

A Twitter user said that he is more excited for the ODI series against Afghanistan. As it would be the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the Indian jersey.
Less Drama, More Intensity
Finally, real cricket is back. 90 overs, no impact player, no timeout drama. ❤️🏏

Test cricket is back, which means we could watch 90 overs a day. Along with that, there would be no strategic timeout of 2.5 minutes or impact player rule this time, like we had in the IPL.
