A few hours ago, Mumbai Indians opened the phase 1 of their ticket sales for the home matches. And now, the team has announced Phase 2, which will begin on 21 March. It comes as another opportunity for the Rohit Sharma fans to watch him play live at Wankhede Stadium.

The Hitman will be coming back to the Wankhede Stadium, and the fans are a lot excited. It is just the two months of the year when we get to see Rohit Sharma play the shortest format of the game. And to cherish this moment, fans are also willing to buy tickets for the home games, which will be played at the Wankhede Stadium.

Rohit Sharma has already retired from Tests and T20Is, and he plays just one format for the Indian team. It is also unclear how many seasons he will be playing before he calls his time in the IPL. So, the Hitman fans and even the MI family are getting ready to book the tickets for the home games.

Mumbai Indians opened Phase 1 a few hours back and it was sold out in a few minutes, despite the high prices. Now, the team will be opening the Phase 2 of ticket bookings from 21st March, which also comes as a big boost for the MI fans. It is being reported that the ticket prices will start from 499 rupees.

Our Take

When Mumbai Indians opened the first phase of the ticket sales, the team received a lot of criticism. And this was mainly due to the ticket prices, which started above 5K for the North stand. Several fans even said that such high prices would make it difficult for the fans to watch the match live from the stadium.

But now, the team has made a massive announcement for the fans, with Phase 2 starting from 21 March. With tickets starting from 499 rupees, fans would have to be quick in the bookings to ensure that they are able to watch Rohit Sharma live at the stadium.
