Mumbai Indians are still set to play two more games before the tournament ends. But right before the same, two of their key players have been injured and returned to their homes. Quinton de Kock and Raj Bawa have been ruled out of the tournament.

Mumbai Indians did not have a good time in the Indian Premier League 2026 edition. However, the team expected to end the tournament on a positive note, but that also seems a bit challenging. Mumbai Indians are yet to play two more games this season, before the team wraps up its campaign.

Amidst all this, the team has received two major injury blows right before the tournament ends. Quinton de Kock and Raj Bawa have been ruled out of the tournament, as they suffered with injuries. Both of these players won't be available to play in the remaining games for the team.

It was reported that Quinton de Kock suffered with a tendon injury in his left right, before the match against SRH. On the other hand, Raj Bawa also suffered with a ligament tear in his right thumb, which makes it impossible for him to return till the tournament ends.

Our Take

Even though Mumbai Indians have suffered with injury blows, it won't be having an impact on the team. They have already been knocked out of the tournament, as the team now aims to end it on a positive note. Having depth in its line-up, Mumbai Indians will aim to utilise the same in the remaining two games and challenge the other teams. Moreover, the team has also said that it would announce replacements for these two players but it remains to be seen who joins the line-up for just two games.
