After the confirmation of Ipswich Town’s likely relegation from the Premier League, Manchester United have emerged as the frontrunners to sign striker Liam Delap for £30 million, thanks to a clause in his contract. The 22-year-old forward has scored 12 goals and provided 2 assists in 31 league appearances—an impressive return given Ipswich are third from bottom, with only four wins in 32 matches.

Delap’s consistent performances have attracted interest from top Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Tottenham, along with teams in Spain and Germany. However, Arsenal have surprisingly opted out of the race, despite needing a striker. The Gunners had previously targeted Ollie Watkins and other names like Isak, Sesko, and Osimhen, but have now shifted focus away from Delap.
