In their previous match, Arsenal broke their 13-game undefeated streak, where they lost 2-0 to Newcastle United in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. This came in as a shocking defeat for the team as they try to regain the momentum in the upcoming match against Manchester United. 

On the other hand, Manchester United had their previous match against Liverpool ended in a 2-2 draw. It is also being reported that Raheem Sterling will be a part of the team in the next clash, as Mikel Arteta thinks he should get a chance in such a crucial match.Mikel Arteta in an interview said, “Because there are moments sometimes, probably sustaining and again when you go to probability and when you go to samples, sustaining an attacking midfielder scoring 15 goals like he did two years ago it doesn’t happen because it hasn’t happened in 50 years.”
