Neymar said he is still undecided about a possible move to FC Cincinnati despite recent links. The 34 year old plans to complete his Santos contract ending in 2026. Limited to 8 matches due to injury, he has 4 goals and 3 assists while aiming for a World Cup return.

During the latest interaction with the media, Neymar admitted uncertainty about his future, despite growing links to a potential move to FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer. The 34 year old forward stated that no final decision has been made yet and emphasized his commitment to complete his current contract with Santos, which runs until the end of 2026. Neymar has had a limited presence on the field this year, featuring in just 8 matches due to a knee injury.

Despite the setbacks, he has managed to contribute 4 goals and 3 assists, continuing to play a key role as the club captain in Brazil’s Serie A. Reports earlier suggested that Cincinnati officials were exploring the possibility of signing the Brazilian star during the summer transfer window, but no agreement has been reached so far. The forward returned to Santos in 2025, the same club where he began his professional journey between 2009 and 2013.

Over the years, he built a global reputation during successful spells with Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain, where he also played alongside Lionel Messi. Neymar has not represented Brazil since 2023 but has expressed his ambition to return in time for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
