Twitter reacts as Barinder Sran shines on debut and India level series

India avenged their surprise loss on Saturday with a one-sided 10-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the 2nd match at Harare on Monday to level the 3-match T20 series. Barinder Sran was the star of the day with an outstanding debut, and here is a collection of the best tweets made during the game.

If Sran stole the show in the first half of the Zimbabwe innings, Bumrah made his presence felt in the second half. He now has 25 wickets, just three short of breaking the record with one more T20I to play this year.

Riding on Barinder Sran’s debut four-wicket haul and Jasprit Bumrah’s three-for, India defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the 2nd T20 on Monday to level the series. The Men in Blue restricted the hosts to 99/9 before KL Rahul and Mandeep Singh formed a 103-run partnership to take India home.
