Umesh Yadav and Hardik Pandya picked up 3 wickets each to wreck New Zealand's top order while Virat Kohli scored yet another fifty to ensure an easy 6-wicket victory for India in the 1st ODI. Twitterati had a ball making fun of Hardik, Umesh, New Zealand's batting, and Dhoni's run-out (wait, what!).

Before we get to the bowlers

What is with these comparisons!

When he surprised himself with the three wickets!

Harsh but true!

Well! What was that with the two wickets?

Kiwis top order be like!

Spoke a bit too early though...

The Umesh we know!

Even Jadhav was in the attack before them!

Times have changed. This hasn't!

After Rahane hit two sixes in the same over

A rare moment in the history of cricket and the fans were definitely suprised...

Somebody had to say this...

After yet another beautiful cover-drive by Kohli enroute to his fifty

And Virender Sehwag applying the finishing touches...
