KL Rahul gave a fitting reply to a tweet from a follower who advised him to focus on scoring runs after the India opener posted a screenshot of R Ashwin following him on Twitter with a tweet: “Oh my my.. what a start to the day. got the legend @ashwinravi99 to follow me. #humbled #blessed.”

Rahul scored only one fifty in his last four Test innings since that brilliant 199 in the fifth Test against England in December.

To thisa a fan replied in Hindi, which can be translated to “Forget all this. Focus on scoring runs”.

Rahul responded with a 'Please come and teach us, brother. I'm sure you know how to score runs,"

Rahul has scored 881 runs in 14 Tests with four centuries and two fifties. The Karnataka cricketer is one of only three Indian batsmen to have scored centuries in all three formats of international cricket.
