BCCI and PCB to meet in Dubai in a bid to resolve MoU dispute

"PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan, Najam Sethi and chief operating officer Subhan Ahmad will be representing Pakistan at the meeting which will be attended by BCCI officials and a member of the interim committee in India," an unnamed source close to the development told PTI.

The PCB sent a notice to the BCCI saying the Indian cricket board has failed to honour the Memorandum Of Understanding according to which India are to play six bilateral series against Pakistan between 2015 and 2023, with the latter hosting four of them.

The source revealed that the meeting would be attended by ICC chief executive Dave Richardson in a bit to persuade PCB to not file a case against the BCCI with the ICC disputes resolution committee.

"The consensus is that before the matter is sent to the disputes resolution committee the two boards should hold talks and try to work out a solution. Two rounds of talks will be held and if they don't succeed then the matter will go to the committee," the source said.

PCB has been demanding a series against India at a neutral venue in return for their tour of India in 2012-13 and the source revealed that the board will surely emphasise on the demand.

"The BCCI didn't share any revenues from that series which was undertaken by Pakistan as a goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, since then the BCCI has not reciprocated at all," the source said.
