WATCH : Pete Lazer loses his cool as Ben Cutting hits James Faulkner for a '4,312-metre' six

Riding on an exceptional performance by the middle-order, Queensland had already gone past the 300-run mark by the end of the 48th over. With Ben Cutting at the crease, Faulkner started off the over with a wide. The second ball, bowling from over the wicket, was a half volley outside the off stump. Cutting shuffled across his stumps and unleashed a monstrous hit that sailed miles through the air and found its way onto the roof of the Blundstone Arena.

Commentator Pete Lazer, who was calling the game, was absolutely astounded to see the shot find its way to the roof and in his excitement exclaimed, "It's gone miles. My goodness me. That has gone 4,312 meters. That is the biggest hit I have seen in a very long time." 

However, it was Faulkner who had the last laugh as he sent Cutting packing on the very next ball. With the last over costing 13 runs, Queensland handed Tasmania a target of 340 to chase down in 50 overs.
