Achieving a rare feat in a World Cricket League match against Denmark, Vanuatu bowlers Nalin Nipiko and Patrick Matautaava managed to scalp four wickets in four balls over a span of two overs, 49th and 50th over. Vanuatu eventually won the match by five wickets with five balls remaining.

In a World Cricket League match between Vanuatu and Denmark, Nipiko and Matautava bowled magnificently to get four wickets in four balls to restrict Denmark to an easy target of 234, played at Kuala Lumpur, on May 5. Chasing the total, Vanuatu won the match by 5 wickets with 5 balls to spare.

Batting first Denmark has scored 222 runs in loss of 5 wickets after the completion of 48th over.  N Nipiko got the ball in the 49th over and in the last two balls took two wickets Rizwan Mahmood and Ham Shah. While Rizwan got out in long off while trying to clear the rope, on the very next ball Ham Shah got out playing over extra cover and caught near the boundary line.

In 50th over, Matautaava got the wicket of RB Javed in short mid-wicket and in the next ball he clean-bowled ND Laegsgaard. After the end of the innings, Denmark managed to score 234 runs with the loss of 9 wickets.

While hat tricks have held most numbers in cricket history, getting 4 wickets in 4 consecutive deliveries of two different overs is a rare feat.
