Mumbai Indians have finally made it two in a two as they beat Kings XI Punjab to keep their reputations of being the late-bloomers in the Indian Premier League alive. While the win gave the Twitterati enough "masala" to have fun, at the same time, they didn't forget to troll RCB as well.

Brief scores: Kings XI Punjab 174/6 (Chris Gayle 50, Marcus Stoinis 29; Jasprit Bumrah 1/19, Ben Cutting 1/28) lost to Mumbai Indians 176-4 (Suryakumar Yadav 57, Krunal Pandya 31*; Mujeeb Ur Rahman 2/37, Andrew Tye 1/35) by 6 wickets.

At least he is consistent in something this season!

KL Rahul and Chris Gayle to RCB : How do you like me now? :P

Rahul has been in brilliant touch this season!

Out of here!

Who would've thought!

Then came the deserved 50!

Yuvi is in horrible form indeed!

Truth!

What a dip!

Football reference of the day...

What an innings by Suryakumar Yadav! Another batsman in form!

And, GONE!

Rohit Sharma showed up at the right time today!

They were on fire today!

Unreal!

These kinds of finishes show why there are so many fans for MI!

Meanwhile!

Revenge is a dish best served cold, but KXIP superstar Chris Gayle prefers to serve it hot we guess and his recent performances with the bat a sound reminder to all the teams that wrote him off in the auction. Gayle sent a Mitchell McClenaghan delivery out of the stadium in tonight’s encounter.
