Virat Kohli has revealed that the Indian team management is still unsure as to the combination for the series opening Test against West Indies at Antigua. Ravi Shastri & Co. will have to make a tough choice between the inclusion of all-rounder Hanuma Vihari or opener Rohit Sharma.

The Indian cricket team thoroughly dominated the limited-overs series against West Indies over the course of the last month. Virat Kohli & Co. will now shift their attention to the upcoming Test series against the Caribbean outfit that will be part of ICC's inaugural World Test Championship. In a pre-match press conference, Indian captain Virat Kohli stated that the team management was still unsure as to what combination they would employ in the opening Test match at Antigua.

"Still thinking about the combination. We haven't had a look at the wicket. It's more or less a choice between three quicks and a spinner or two quicks and two spinners. Last time England played here the wicket had a bit of variable bounce so all those factors come into play. We're flexible at the moment about what the combination should be.

"It all depends on the type of combination we want to go in with. Vihari has done so well since the time he's come in. Two difficult tours. Rohit's also done well in Melbourne. It all depends on the kind of combination we want to go with. Vihari gives you a few overs with the ball as well. He's a solid player. Rohit, we've been seeing it for years, so it's about who provides the best balance in terms of the XI we want to choose," Kohli was quoted as saying by ESPNCricinfo.

Vihari played three Tests in the historic Test series win in Australia last December where he scored 111 runs at an average of only 22.20, while he also picked up two wickets while bowling 35 overs. In comparison, Rohit only played two of the four Tests where he scored 106 runs at an average of 35.33, including an unbeaten 63 in the third Test in Melbourne.
