The Bangladesh Cricket Board have scrapped Soumya Sarkar's named from the national T20I squad after a forgettable performance by the top order batsman in the first two games of the Twenty20 series. The board has called up three uncapped players to join the squad for the ongoing tri-nation series.

Three uncapped batsmen Mohammad Naim, Aminul Islam, Nazmul Hossain will join the squad for the third and fourth match of the ongoing tri-nation T20I series in Bangladesh.
