Chennai Super Kings have registered their second victory of IPL 2022 against Mumbai Indians in a last-ball thriller as MS Dhoni unleashed his vintage version scoring unebaten 28 runs from 13 balls while chasing 156. CSK won by three wickets as Dhoni smashed a boundary to finish the proceedings.

After their horrid start in the IPL 2022, Chennai Super Kings seems to be recovering from the shock of their disappointing performance. CSK registered their second victory of the IPL 2022 as they beat Mumbai Indians by three wickets and MS Dhoni was instrumental in the victory. CSK won the toss and chose to bowl first. Their decision panned out impressively as they reduced MI to 111/6 but a half-century from Tilak Varma helped them post a total of 155/7. Mukesh Choudhary picked three wickets.

Mumbai Indians also bowled well in the second innings and it turned out to be a very intense contest. CSK were reduced to 106/6 at one stage and the chase was looking tough with Dwaine Pretorious and MS Dhoni on the crease. Dhoni hasn’t been in great form lately but he turned the clock and displayed his finishing skills. Dhoni slammed unbeaten 28 runs from 13 balls and hit a boundary to finish the game. Pretorious played an equally important inning of 22 runs from 14 balls at the back end.
