Team India Test captain Virat Kohli took a brilliant catch while fielding at second slip to dismiss South Africa's Temba Bavuma on Day 2 in the ongoing Cape Town Test. Shami scalped the wicket of Temba and Kyle Verreynne in the same over, and provided a crucial breakthrough for India on Day 2.

India speedster Jasprit Bumrah got his team the start they wanted by dismissing Aiden Markram for eight runs on the second delivery of the day. Umesh Yadav, who was included in the Indian playing XI for the third Test match in place of the injured Mohammed Siraj castled nightwatchman Keshav Maharaj in his second over of the day. 

Indian pacers continued their good run on the second day's play and scalped wickets at regular intervals. Yadav once again struck for India as he dismissed van der Dussen in the 40th over. A disciplined bowling performance from Mohammed Shami earned him two wickets in the 56th over of the innings.

India Test captain, Virat Kohli took a sensational catch while standing at second slip to dismiss Temba Bavuma, who looked solid at the crease. The catch also completed Kohli's 100th catch in Test cricket. Kyle Verreynne, who walked out to bat after the dismissal of Temba ended up in the hands of Rishabh Pant in the same over bowled by Shami.  

After Shami struck twice in his over, the Indian players in the dugout were seen clapping in rhythm.
