Few men with no sporting credentials to boast have managed to take the cricketing fraternity by storm like Pak Bean did in 2022, underlining Zimbabwe's upset for the ages over Pakistan. Having disappeared from the global conscience since, the imitator was spotted in his full glory in the PSL Final.

Islamabad United put up a valiant bowling effort to kickstart the PSL summit clash on a hard and flat deck in Karachi to restrict the Multan Sultans to 114/4 in 15 overs at the time of writing. However, amidst all the riveting cricketing action being put up by some of the world's premier cricketers, it was an unexpected visitor in the crowd that caught the attention of the Twitterverse.

Around the midway stage of the innings while the players switched ends between overs, the broadcast cameras panned to the enthusiastic Asif Muhammad sitting in the stands with his full Mr. Bean getup. The comedian shot to fame during the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 when a Zimbabwean fan had called him out defrauding the African nation by showing up as Rowan Atkinson's legendary comic character for a private show in 2016. While the narrative took grip of the online community, Zimbabwe went on to defeat the Asian giants in a thriller, and even the Presidents of both countries consequently got embroiled in the saga by making references to 'Pak Bean'.

Twitterati was amused by the sudden appearance of the infamous character nearly two years on from the incident and spammed social media with their reactions.
