At some point, miracles stop feeling like works of magic and come to be accepted as mortal genius when they begin too occur all too often. It is the same with Jasprit Bumrah's excellence with a cricket ball, as he reminded us again with a monstrous fourth scalp in Chennai against Bangladesh.

India stormed their way to the front seat on Day 2 of the first Test against Bangladesh at Chepauk on Friday by bowling them out 227 runs short of their first innings total of 376. The annihilation was spearhead by Jasprit Bumrah, who scalped two with the new ball and then returned to dispatch the gritty Hasan Mahmud. However, the right-arm quick had saved his best for last.

In the 43rd over, Taskin Ahmed had the misfortune of coming up against Bumrah's prowess. He barely survived three balls but had simply no fathomable chance of keeping out what followed. Bumrah, running in from over the wicket. nailed the most perfect yorker that sneaked behind the tailender's bat to send the stumps all haywire.

Twitter was ecstatic at the sight of more Bumrah brilliance and took to social media to shower praise on the genius.
