Playing in the centre of a packed venue amidst the crowd's hooting can hamper a batter's concentration. Punjab batter Abhishek Sharma seems to have been a victim of such distractions after suffering a brain-fade moment in the middle of the pitch and losing his wicket against Delhi Capitals.

Winning the toss and choosing to bat first didn't quite work well for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, who suffered a defeat against Lucknow Super Giants in their previous game. Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, the swashbuckling openers, failed to get a dream start like they did for the Hyderabad franchise last as the southpaw ended up getting out in a suicidal fashion.

The fifth ball of the innings was sprayed widish outside the stumps that Head pushed towards cover where Vipraj Nigam was steaming in to collect the white rock. Abhishek, from the non-striker’s end was stuck in between after initiating the run and found him short of the crease as Nigam executed a direct hit at the keeper’s end. Rightly so, the left-hander was dejected and walked off the field sending the Twitterverse into a frenzy.

Huge mess-up!

He look so dissappointed!

That was not needed there!

Moye moye!

LOL!

Yes true!

BAdluck hunting!

Hahaha! Yes he looked that way!
