Pakistan has been known for its sloppy display on the field and Mohammad Haris took it to new heights during the Asia Cup T20 2025 Super Four game against Bangladesh in Dubai. The batter underwent a horrendous brainfade as he took off for a second run without even grounding his bat after first run.

‌Pakistan got off to a horror start after being put into bat against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the Super Four match of Asia Cup T20 2025. The Men in Green slipped to 33/4 inside nine overs with Rishad Hossain leading a disciplined bowling effort from the Tigers.

The leg-spinner picked up two wickets while Taskin Ahmed and Mahedi Hasan got a wicket each to have Pakistan under the pump early on in the game. But batter Mohammad Haris calmed the viewers’ nerves with a funny brainfade, which had them in splits.

Off-spinner Mahedi bowled a flighted delivery outside off stump to captain Salman Agha in the final ball of the 10th over, with the batter stepping down to guide the ball to wide long on. Non-striker Haris was busy denying a second run that he even forgot to ground his bat after the first.

A subsequent misfield saw Haris making a U-turn, without even making the crease, to complete the second. With only one run added to the scorecard, the replays hilariously showed why. The batter invented new ways of getting brainfaded as he took ‘Pakistan things’ on the field to new heights.

Twitter was in splits even after knowing what to expect from a Pakistan game, as Haris provided a laugh-out-loud moment in a nervy game.
