The game of cricket gives players a chance to find their form and also earn redemption against some top cricketers as well. The Asia Cup witnessed Sanju Samson who managed to find some form in his quickfire knock and ended his struggle against Wanindu Hasaranga with two beautiful straight hits.

‌The last game of the Super fours has so far been dominated by the Indian batters, who put the Sri Lankan bowlers on the back foot with some beautiful strokeplay and powerful hits. Though this was a dead rubber game, it was a chance for some players to find some form in the game as well. One of the batters who took this opportunity with both hands is Sanju Samson, as he played a decent knock of 39 off 23 deliveries which included a boundary and three sixes.

two of the most iconic sixes in the game came in the 15th off the bowling by Sri Lankan leggie Wanindu Hasaranga, who has been a nightmare for Samson in the T20Is. The wily wrist spinner had dismissed the Keralite batter six times in the format before this game, but the story was different on this occasion as Samson had struck him for two big sixes with one coming in the 13th over, while the other came in the 15th. Both shots were pure examples of power and timing, to which Hararanga had no answer.
