KKR Dressing Room Goes Wild After First Win as Varun Reveals All

Kolkata Knight Riders have finally opened their win count in IPL 2026, as the team came out victorious against Rajasthan Royals. Rinku Singh was the star of the team, as he completed the chase in the final over. And securing a win in the IPL felt like an eternity to the team.

Since the last season, the team has not managed to win a game in the IPL and players were still giving their best. Despite each match not coming in their favour, the team didn't lose hope and finally got a win after May 4, 2025. The win surely felt personal, as the team encountered a number of losses and trolls during this period.

Varun Chakravarthy shared what exactly happened in the dressing room after the win. He said,“I could see many tears in the dressing room after our 1st win this season, we didn’t see that many tears even when we won the trophy in 2024.”
