Following the CSK vs SRH Clash, videos went viral of a SRH fan doing some sort of black magic after which the CSK batsman was bowled. After this, a fake image of CSK's complaint on this matter also surfaced on the internet. Lalit Modi reacted to the fake videos, while also telling fans about a real event similar to this one.
The clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings still remains on the headlines. In the match, a fan wearing Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey was seen doing acts similar to Black magic with a lemon. After his actions, Shivam Dube was bowled out, which made fans think black magic really took place.
Since the video went viral, fans decided to take things to a new level. Some photos have gone viral that the Chennai Super Kings have asked the BCCI to take action on the black magic incident which took place. Lalit Modi, the founder of IPL, has reacted to the fake images in a recent tweet. He also said that a similar incident had taken place in the IPL earlier.
He tweeted by saying, “I remember I posted some team owner doing this to the opposing team. By doing exactly this themselves in opposing team dressing room. I even alerted the opposing team owners about this way back in 2011 season - when it happened and I got an alert with concrete proof. I will reveal all these type of activities conducted by whom in the movie / Tv series as decided by my team to disclose.”
Our Take
It remains to be seen which team has been involved in this matter before. With Lalit Modi, the IPL founder, saying about it, fans know that one such incident would have taken place and it stayed hidden for a long time. As for the case between CSK and SRH, the allegations and controversies are fan made, and nothing is true. CSK has not taken any action on this scene, and the images available on the internet are also fake or photoshopped.
