Josh Hazlewood Applauds RCB Fans After Strong Show of Support
Josh Hazlewood recently talked about the support he has received from the RCB fans. Playing the IPL for the defending champions, he talked about how the away games also feel like home matches. Moreover, he also compared the RCB fanbase with CSK fanbase.
Josh Hazlewood became one of the key players for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in no time. The team brought Hazlewood to their line-up back in IPL 2025, and since then, their destiny changed for good. RCB even won its first-ever title in 2025, where Hazlewood remained the highest wicket-taker.
Recently, Josh Hazlewood also spoke about the RCB fans. He said in an interview, “I've played for two franchise, but the RCB fans are loud & crazy. Every away games feels like a home game, Even in the net sessions and international games. The craze and fandom around RCB is largely because of Virat Kohli, it’s mostly driven by him.”
He didn't just compare the two franchises, he also said that the RCB fans turned out to be more cheerful to him. This has triggered mixed responses from the fans all over the internet, as the CSK fans argue over the same. It should be noted that Hazlewood has helped both RCB and CSK to win a title in this decade.

They even tracked his flight when Hazlewood was about to arrive in India, and this has even left the Australian bowler shocked when he got to know about it. Earlier when he played for Chennai Super Kings, it came during the IPL 2021 season. Since at that time the tournament was being played in Dubai, the support didn't turn out to be as much as he received from the RCB fans in the last two seasons.
