Abhishek Sharma yet again sizzled with five sixes and seven fours during an unbeaten 20-ball 68 against New Zealand in the third T20I. The Indian opener, was surrounded by Mitchell Santner and Devon Conway after the game, to inspect his bat in a hilarious incident with Jacob Duffy also joining in.

‌India thrashed New Zealand by eight wickets in the third T20I in Guwahati to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series on Sunday. And expectedly it was Abhishek Sharma who led in his inimitable aggressive style to make light work of the chase after Jasprit Bumrah had picked up an impressive 3/17 in four overs to restrict the visitors to 153/9.

The Indian opener had a field day smashing five sixes and seven fours to remain unbeaten on 68 off just 20 balls as the home side completed the run chase with a whopping 10 overs to spare. He was well-supported by skipper Suryakumar Yadav, who also completed his fifty, just before taking the side past the finish line.

Abhishek looked in red hot form completing his fifty in just 14 balls, the second best by an Indian batter in T20Is after Yuvraj Singh. And unsurprisingly, the Sunrisers Hyderabad batter was rounded by the New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner and Devon Conway after the game as the sides shook hands with each other.

As Santner exchanged words with the batter on a lighter note, Conway was quick to grab his bat. The Kiwi opener quickly had a look at it and held it to play a shadow forward defence as Jacob Duffy also joined in.

The pacer also took the bat before having a quick banter with the batter befor returning the willow back to him. Twitter was in splits as the Kiwis were curious to know how Abhishek hit those sixes wth ease.
