Riyan Parag Shares Positive Health Update Following Surgery
Riyan Parag had suffered with a shoulder injury during the Indian Premier League. Even after being selected for India A in its tour of Sri Lanka, he was ruled out of the series. Parag went through shoulder surgery and shared an update after the same on his Instagram.
Riyan Parag was going through an injury when he led Rajasthan Royals till Qualifier 2 of the tournament. Following his performances and leadership in the Indian Premier League, he was also named as the Vice captain of India A team in its tour of Sri Lanka. But his fitness and shoulder had some other plans.
When he was ruled out of the series against Sri Lanka A, Parag was not just suffering with his shoulder issues but he had also dealt with a hamstring injury in the IPL. Following this, Ruturaj Gaikwad replaced him in the India A team, and he has been giving some of the best performances. Now, Riyan Parag has shared a positive update regarding his right shoulder.
The Rajasthan Royals skipper had gone through a surgery, and he posted a photo after it was successful. The surgery was done by the famous consultant orthopedic surgeon of BCCI, Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwalla. Now Parag will be going through rehabilitation, which will make him fit to play the game again.

Riyan Parag revealed that he has been dealing with this injury constantly over the last two years. Still he was able to give some of the finest performances for Rajasthan Royals and even did well in the domestics. Now that his surgery is successful, he will continue to spend some time in rehabilitation, before the BCCI CoE declares him fit to participate.
